Timber Piles are usually capped with a prefabricated concrete pile extender. These ensure that the head of the Timber Piles always lie under the watertable, thereby preventing rotting.

 

The standard dimensions of the extenders;

 

·                   18*18 cm, in lengths of 1,5 to 5,0 metres

·                   Ø 28 cm, in lengths of 1,5 to 3,0 metres

·                   Ø 31 cm, in lengths of 1,5 to 3,5 metres

 

The head of the concrete extender can be trimmed off at the surface level, and its reinforcement can be incorporated in the overlying structure.

 

We have developed a rectangular variant with a projecting loop, for greenhouse constructions. This removes the need to trim off the ends of these extenders.
